Welcome to The Royal Hotel & Bar, a family owned hotel and bar in the heart of Lancaster city. We took on The Royal in 2016 and have spent the past six years growing the business to include fourteen lovely renovated, a cosy and relaxing bar paired with beautiful courtyard beer garden. Whether you’re joining us for a drink or staying overnight, you’ll always receive a warm welcome at The Royal.

With our monetary vouchers, the recipient has the freedom to put the balance towards whatever takes their fancy, including rooms and drink. Not sure how much to get? You can always give us a call on 01524 65007 and we’ll happily offer some advice. Please note that we do not serve food, however all vouchers are valid for the bar and hotel.

Terms & Conditions

All vouchers can be used towards any rooms or drink purchased at The Royal Hotel & Bar. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and no change will be given if the full monetary value of the voucher is not spent in one transaction.

Please note that we do not serve food, however all vouchers are valid for the bar and hotel.

Valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

  • “We stayed here for two nights for our daughter's graduation. We had two rooms. One was larger that the other. We were in the annex at the side of the pub. It was modern and well decorated. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom and everywhere else was clean and tidy. The shower was good but not adjustable, so short people have to try really hard not to get their hair wet. There is no breakfast but they do provide a selection of fruit and porridge which you can help yourself to, which was nice. There was also a breakfast option at the weekend but only between 9 and 10 and our post-teenager was reluctant to get up that early! Great location too, right in the middle of Lancaster. And a small car park right opposite.”

  • “This is a lovely place to stay. Modern, clean and a very friendly welcome. There is a complimentary continental breakfast.which was perfect. The Hotel is close to a good Chinese restaurant, other restaurants, pubs and shopping. There is minimal noise from outside.and we had a great night's sleep in a really comfortable bed. We will be back”
